Digital Banking Awareness Campaign held on 14-12-2022
An awareness campaign on digital banking was held at Lakhimpur Commerce College today. Organized by the IQAC of the college as part of its best practice programme in association with North Lakhimpur branch of ICICI Bank. The awareness meet was inaugurated by Dr. Lohit Hazarika, Principal, Lakhimpur Commerce College. The objective of the campaign was explained by Saurabh Chakravartty, Assistant Professor, Dept. of Commerce of the college. Zahoor Khan, Branch Manager of ICICI Bank, North Lakhimpur branch and an alumnus of Lakhimpur Commerce College made a presentation on online fraud and other hacking attempts in the banking sector. Jagjit Rabha and Dhrubajyoti Dutta of the ICICI Bank also attended the awareness campaign as resource persons. Matters like Juice Taking, ATM cloning, fishing calls, social media links, QR codes for receiving money, online job offer were discussed and explained in the meeting. The meeting ended with vote of thanks by Dr Dadul Rajkonwar, coordinator, IQAC of the college.
