A Dihanaam competition was held at Lakhimpur Commerce College today. The competition was organized by Lakhimpur district unit of North Assam Pranta of Sanskar Bharati and inaugurated by Dr. Lohit Hazarika, Principal of Lakhimpur Commerce College. The inaugural session was chaired by Deepak Hazarika, president of Sanskar Bharati, Lakhimpur district unit. In his address Hazarika explained the effort by Sanskar Bharati in carrying forward Dihanaam to the all India level. The competition was coordinated by Bulbuli Sharma, Anju Bharali and Bipul Bora. The function was also attended by Pranjal Pratim Bora, secretary of Sanskar Bharati, Lakhimpur district unit. More than thirty five teams participated in the competition. Dr. Arupa Dutta, coordinator of the cultural cell of Lakhimpur Commerce College offered the vote of thanks at the end of the programme.
