Programme on “E- Waste Management: Challenges and Opportunities”
A programme on “E-Waste Management: Challenges and Opportunities” was organized by Eco Club, Lakhimpur Commerce College in Collaboration with IQAC on 27 May 2022 at 2 pm in Room No 5. The programme was formally inaugurated by Dr. Lohit Hazarika, Principal of the college. Mr. Krishna Pratim Bordoloi, Founder of AInA Welfare Foundation was invited as the resource person who gave a presentation on the significance of e- waste management in this age of technical advancement. He highlighted on the measures that can be adopted for the management of the wastes created by different electronic gadgets used popularly and the need to start collection centers from where these can be sent to recycling centers. The presentation was interactive, resourceful and beneficial for both the teachers and students. It was concluded with a vote of thanks by Sri Benimadhab Buragohain, Literary and Magazine Secretary of the college.
