ICSSR Sponsored National Seminar

ICSSR Sponsored National Seminar held on 3rd and 4th March, 2023

A Two Day National Seminar on Aatamanirbhar Bharat Abhiyan and North East India organized by Department of Commercial Law and Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), Lakhimpur Commerce College on 3^rd and 4^th March, 2023. The seminar was sponsored by Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR), New Delhi.

The National Seminar was inaugurated by Dr. Muhidhar Pujari, President of Governing Body, Lakhimpur Commerce College and he delivered the Inaugural Address on the occasion of the National Seminar. Dr. Lohit Hazarika, Principal of Lakhimpur Commerce College delivered Welcome Address at the National Seminar on 3^rd March, 2023 followed by Keynote Address delivered by Dr. Pranjal Bezborah, Retired Professor, Department of Commerce, Dibrugarh University, Assam.

The Technical Session-I started at 11.30 after ten minutes of Tea Break. The first technical session was chaired by Dr. Pranjal Bezborah, Retired Professor, Department of Commerce, Dibrugarh University and Dr, Prashna Kumar Panighahi, Professor, Department of Political Science, Rajiv Gandhi University, Arunachal Pradesh was acted as Resource Person in the seminar. A total of 13 Research Papers presented in the first technical session. The Technical Session-II started at 2 pm after lunch break. Dr. Seema S. Singha, HOD, Department of Commerce, Dibrugarh University, Resource Person of this session announced the name of the presenters of Research Paper. The Technical Session-II chaired by Dr. Pranjal Bezborah, Retired Professor, Department of Commerce, Dibrugarh University. 14 numbers of participants from different parts of North East presented their Research Paper in this second technical session on 3^rd March, 2023.

On second day (4^th March, 2023), a good numbers of Research Papers presented by the participants. Dr. Lohit Hazarika, Principal of Lakhimpur Commerce chaired in Technical Session-III and IV. The resource persons of these two technical sessions were Prof. Sazzad Hussian and Dr. Diganta Kr. Das, Lakhimpur Commerce College.

The Valedictory Session was held at 3.30 pm after end of the both sessions. The participants were distributed their certificates of presentation and participations in the valedictory session. The president of the valedictory Session, Dr. Lohit Hazarika, Principal of Lakhimpur Commerce College delivered a short speech at the session. The session ended with the Vote of Thanks offered by Dr. Dadul Rajkonwar, Convener of the ICSSR Sponsored National Seminar. Special thanks offered to Dr. Harini P. Das, Assistant Professor, Department of English by the convener of the National Seminar.
