Magazine inauguration meeting
Magazine inauguration meeting was held on 26.05.2022 at Conference Hall. Dr. Biva Dutta had coordinated the entire program. Dr. Lohit Hazarika, Principal of Lakhimpur Commerce College, Dr. Muhidhar Pujari, President of Governing Body, Lakhimpur Commerce College, Prof. Hari Prasad Sarma, President, Bharatiya Sikshan Mandal’s Gauhati University Unit, Dr. Nilmohan Roy, President of Uttar Asom Prant, Bharatiya Sikshan Mandal, Dr. Deepak Borgohain, Principal of Dhemaji Girls College, Sri G.K. Chetry, Vice- principal of the college, and Dr. Debojit Dutta , Assistant Professor, LTK College were felicitated at the beginning of the meeting. The President of G.B. inaugurated the meeting by lighting the lamp. Dr. Sikhamoni Borgohain, the teacher- in- charge of the magazine extended her gratitude to all the concerned persons who helped her to publish the magazine in short period. She begged her pardon for the mistakes of the magazine if any. After the speech of Benimadhab Buragohain, student editor of the magazine who spoke few lines about his experience in publishing the magazine, Prof. Hari Prasad Sarma inaugurated the magazine. In his speech, he said that college magazine is an indispensable part of college education and gave emphasis on quality education. Dr. Nilmohan Roy stated that ancient Indian Education system was very practical and fruitful one. He suggested that Indian history, ancient culture should be reflected in present day education system. At last, G.K Chetry, Vice-principal of the college extended vote of thanks to all.
