Observation of International Mother Language Day

Lakhimpur Commerce College observed International Mother Language Day

The International Mother Language Day was observed by Department of Assaemese, Hindi and English on 21-02-2025. The objective of the programe was delivered by Mr. Achyut Kr. Gogoi, HOD of Assamese Department. Dr. Lohit Hazarika, Principal of Lakhimpur Commerce College delivered a fruitful lecture on the importance of mother language. He calls for awareness of the common people for the preservation of native language. Mr. Tilak Ch. Deka and Dr. Harini Patowary Das, Assistant Professors of Lakhimpur Commerce College  also delivered informative lecture on the occasion of International Mother Language Day. A number of faculty members, non-teaching staff and students attended the programme.
