Observation of Library Day on 12-08-2022
The Central Library of the college observed Library Day on 12th August, 2022. Dr. Lohit Hazarika, Principal of the college inaguarated the Library Day Programme and delivered a thoughful speech on the occasion of the Day. Librarian Mrs. Runjun Baruah explained the contributions of Padmashri Dr S. R. Ranganathan (1892-1972), father of library science in India in the event. A song was sung by the Library staff in the event. A good number of faculty members and students of Lakhimpur Commerce College present in the event.
