An Online Talk on Academic Writing Organised by Research Cell, Lakhimpur Commerce College on 06.05.2022
An online talk on Academic Writing was organised by the Research Cell of Lakhimpur Commerce College on Google meet platform at 1 p.m. Dr Devi Baruah, Assistant professor in the Department of Commerce at Rajiv Gandhi University was invited as the resource person. The meeting started with the Convener of the Research Cell Dr. SangeetaBorthakurTamuli narrating the objective and a welcome address by the Principal Dr. Lohit Hazarika. The resource person in her presentation highlighted on many significant features of writing a quality research paper like finding access to resource materials, styles of referencing, locating resource materials through shadow library , verifying Scopus journals etc .The talk was very resourceful and informative and the faculty members of the college were highly benefitted by the hands on presentation by the resource person. The meeting ended with a vote of thanks by Dr. SangeetaBorthakurTamuli.
