Inaugural programme of Lakhimpur Commerce College Research Journal
The Inaugural programme of Lakhimpur Commerce College Research journal was held on 28 the May 2022 at 11.30 in the Conference Room. The programme was organised under the aegis of the Research cell of the college to inaugurate two issues of the research journal, one current issue from October 2021 to March 2022 and the other a compiled Backlog issue from October 2014 to September 2021. The Programme shared with the well come address given by the Principal Dr. Lohit Hazarika. It was followed by an address by Dr. Sangeeta Borthakur Tamuli, the editor of the Journal where the expressed her gratitude to all the contributors of the journal, the reviewers, members of teaching and non- teaching staff and specially the Principal of the college. Who had encouraged and supported in every way in the publication of the journal. The Research Journal was then formally inaugurated by Prof. Jiten Hazarika, Registrar of Dibrugarh University. Releasing the two issues of the Journal, Prof. Hazarika applauded the effort of the institution in promoting an environment of research and advised to take steps to enlist it in the UGC core list of Journals in the future. He also presented a talk on “Research under NEP: Holistic and Multidisciplinary Education”. The Director of IQAC, Dibrugarh University. Dr. Kalyan Bhuyan, a Professor of the Department of Physics was also present as an invited quest in the meeting. The entire programme was anchored by Mr. Kuldeep Narayan Dutta, Assistant Professor, Department of Political Science. The Programme concluded with a Vote of thanks by Dr. Rupjyoti Bhattacharjee, Assistant Professor, Department of English.
