A programme on skill development was organised on 6th February, 2024 by Assam Skill Development Mission, Lakhimpur District in collaboration with Career Counselling and Guidance Cell, Lakhimpur Commerce College. Mr. Kuldeep Narayan Dutta, Assistant Professor of college delivered the objective of the programme. Dr. Lohit Hazarika, Principal of Lakhimpur Commerce College delivered a fruitful speech on ways and means of skill development of the students of Higher Education Institutions. Mr. Utpal Borah, District Development Commissioner (DDC) of Lakhimpur District delivered a speech on the future demand of skilled personnel in the emerging market. The programme was attended by 213 number of students along with teaching and non-teaching staff of college. Mr. Samiran Konwar, Chairman of Town Development Authority and Mrs. Nibedita Dutta, Chairperson of Municipal Board, Lakhimpur were also present at the programme. The programme was ended with successfully.
