Department of Commercial Law
INTRODUCTION:
Commercial Law Department was established on 4th September, 1972 which was brought under deficit grants-in-aids system from 01-09-1979.
VISION:
To render quality education.
MISSION:
Ø Use of participative teaching method to develop thinking ability of students.
Ø To encourage students to undertake co-curricular activities.
HISTORY
The department of Commercial Law is one of the important departments of the College to teach different law courses.
Prof. Rameshwar Taparia served as Assistant Professor in the department for more than 24 years and retired in the year 2011. In the year 2012, Dr. Dadul Rajkonwar was appointed as Assistant Professor after his retirement and he has been serving in the department.
FUTURER PLAN:
Ø To introduce add-on courses.
Ø Use of activity based learning method in teaching.
Ø To organize departmental seminars and workshops.
