In line with the national vision for a cleaner India, an Essay Competition on the significance of the Swachh Bharat Mission (Urban) was successfully organized at Lakhimpur Commerce College on 28th October 2025. The event, initiated by the Municipal Board, North Lakhimpur, witnessed enthusiastic participation from the student body, fostering awareness and igniting young minds towards the mission's goals. The programme commenced at 11:00 AM as scheduled. It began with a warm welcome to the distinguished guests from the Municipal Board and the faculty members. A total of 51 students from Commerce and Arts streams of the college participated in the competition, demonstrating a keen interest in the cause of urban sanitation and environmental sustainability.
