Rashtriya Ekta Diwas celebration at Lakhimpur Commerce College

As part of the Rashtriya Ekta Diwas celebration observed from 21st to 31st October 2025, the 13th Assam Battalion Band Party presented a spectacular Pipe Band performance at Lakhimpur Commerce College. The event was graced by Dr. Lohit Hazarika, Principal of Lakhimpur Commerce College, Assistant Deputy Commissioner, Gautam Priyam Mahanta, DSP Babul Bora, Major Sukumar Chutiya, Inspector Nagen Saikia, Sub Inspector Hiren Saikia, Team Master Havildar Jagdish and Diganta Hazarika of the 13th Assam Battalion. The programme which was organized to commemorate the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, the Iron Man of India and reinforce the spirit of national integration was attended by the teachers, staff, and students of the college. The impressive display of musical precision and patriotic fervour by the band party created an atmosphere of unity and pride. The programme concluded with the band playing the national anthem.
