77th Independence Day was celebrated at Lakhimpur Commerce College on 15th August, 2023. The Flag was hoisted by Dr. Lohit Hazarika, Principal of Lakhimpur Commerce College at 7.30 am at the college campus. He also delivered a lecture on the occasion of the Indepence Day. He highlighted the sacrifies of the people of India during 1947. Prof. G. K. Chetry, Vice Principal of the college paid tributes to the martyrs. The National Enthem of India -Jana Gana Mana was sung after hoisting the National Flag. The programme was atteneded by teaching staff, non-teaching staff and students of the college.
