RUSA 2.0 sponsored training on NAAC and NEP-2020 Implementation held at Lakhimpur Commerce College

A training programme on NAAC preparedness and New Education Policy (NEP)-2020 implementation for colleges of Lakhimpur and Dhemaji was held in Lakhimpur Commerce College today. The programme was sponsored bu Rashtriya Uchcha Siksha Abhiyan (RUSA) 2.0 and was organized by Lakhimpur Commerce College in collaboration with UGC-Human Resource Development Centre, Gauhati University.

The day long training programme was inaugurated by Dr. Lohit Hazarika, Principal of Lakhimpur Commerce College. Dr. Samir Sarkar of HRDC, Gauhati University delivered the welcome address of the training session along with the objective of the programme. Dr. Raghab Parajuli of North Lakhimpur College (Autonomous) and Dr Diganta Hazarika of Dhemaji College attended the training programme as resource persons. Dr Suresh Dutta of Panigaon Om Prakash Dinodia College also attended the training session.

A total thirty six faculty members from Lakhimpur Girls College, Nowboicha College, Panigaon Om Prakash Dinodia College and Gogamukh College attended the training programme. The coordinator of IQAC, Lakhimpur Commerce College Dr Dadul Rajkonwar also attended the session as a host facilitator.
